- MSM SmithApr 2, 20261.0My debit card had fraud on it so it was canceled. I had to pay $50 for a new one (expedited) that I never received. So, I started using my savings account card. Come to find out, they charge you (and don't inform you until the end of the month) $15 per transaction over the allowed amount. THIS BANK HAS CHARGED ME $1800 in service charges. When alerted, the manager didn't even call me back to discuss, instead, I had to call the bank 3 times to get someone to speak with me about it. Talk about predatory and penalizing. Is this any way to treat someone? You took $1800 from me for using my savings account too much, while not shipping the expedited card to me that would have resolved this. Yes, I am sure it is in a small print somewhere, and yes, I am sure that this is absolutely unacceptable to take $1800 from me on the last day of the month when I have bills to pay, and not even have the decency to call me.
