  I've been using the PNC Bank branch in Wakefield fairly often, as the branch in Wake Forest closed a few years back. It is located in the Wakefield Commons shopping center. The branch has an outside ATM, drive-thru, and the lobby is also open during the week. The employees have been friendly the times I have needed to go inside to complete transactions. The ATM is normally more convenient for me, since this location isn't near me and hard to get to when open. The ATM thankfully can handle most transactions, including deposits of cash or checks. For withdrawals, it even has a bill select. if you would like a variety of denominations.

  5 employees not doing anything, 1 greeter and youll still wait 30 min, this place is unbelievably poorly ran.

  Appointment time was 11:30, pulled up at 11:29, was told prior appointment was running a little behind. 12:26, still in my car waiting. Another person pulled up a few moments ago and was allowed to enter. Has been inside for about 8 minutes now. Hmmm. Negative experience. 1:02pm addition: we were called on shortly after the initial post. I will say, the rep has been very kind and efficient. Added another star due to that.

  People are always courteous, friendly and helpful. I couldn't ask for a better local branch.

  Avoid this bank they offer service that is below average. I spoke directly to the manager Dan, regarding assisting me clear a business check. He said that he would follow up and expidite the service. I gave him one week to complete the task. I called on the 8th day, spoke to Dan, he lost the paperwork, asked for my details again and then said he would call me right back. I called back 3 hours later and found out that Dan had left for a 6 day vacation without returning my call. Most banks no longer offer service, just transactions. I would recommend other banks that have better resources.
