  No one here knoews the polices and doesn't know what they are doing. This bank held $$$3200 from me for a week after withdrawing it from the other account the same day!!!I would caution anyone from opening an account here. When I first opened the account I asked about cashing checks and holds put on checks. I was told then after about 30 days or so the account was considered not new and checks would be cashed no problem. If a gold was to exist it was only supposed to rake a day. I was told. Then I deposited a $3200 check in person. The teller told me it would have a hold of a day. The next day it wasn't there I was told a letter was sent out and it was a hold for another few days. The following week on Wednesday neither the letter or money was available to me. I called back I was given the total run around. Said another letter was being mailed out and it should be available by Friday. My account was over 30 days old and I had cashed and deposited checks there before. It took me calling over and over again just to get an answer about what was going on. I had to request to talk to the bank manager Sherry that did not know what was going on either. Finally I get the answer that the person writing the check needed to verify funds. However the money was withdrawn from his account THE DAY I deposited my check. It took all day yo get this answer from the bank on what they needed from me. Still no letter had come in the mail. I finally got the hold taken off my account because I had to call the general customer service number and complain. TODAY I WAS TOLD A DIFFERENT SENERIO WHEN TRYING TO CASH A NEW CHECK. THE ACCOUNT MUST BE A YEAR OLD TO CASH CHECKS!!!! IF I WOUL HAVE KNOWN THAT AT THE TIME OF OPENING I WOULD HAVE NEVER OPENED AN ACCOUNT AT PNC!!!

  Have an insurance check that was written from PNC bank so I came to PNC bank to cash it and since I don’t have any an account here and they charged me $36 to cash my check unless I wanted to go in and open a bank account. I don’t even live in the city this bank is so there’s no point in me having an account here ⭐️ do not recommend. .

  Great environment get customer service better than most banks. If you need help they are always there to help you and try to figure the problem.
