- ADAmanda DooleyOct 6, 20251.0My husband and I have been banking with First National since relocating to North Carolina in 2022. We chose the bank for its small-town feel and the promise of a more personal approach to financial services. Unfortunately, over time, our experiences have led us to gradually move our deposits and accounts elsewhere. After today’s interaction, we have decided to close our account entirely. I regret not paying closer attention to the numerous negative reviews this branch has received. While the branch manager maintains a professional tone, her demeanor conveys a dismissive attitude that is both unhelpful and discouraging. When I voiced valid concerns, her response was to essentially agree with me on closing our account rather than addressing the issue. It’s disappointing to feel that customers of regular means are not valued or respected. Given that my husband also qualifies for more favorable banking benefits through his position in law enforcement, we will be taking our business elsewhere. I sincerely hope corporate leadership reevaluates the management at this branch for the sake of the everyday customer experience.

However, went into this bank to open a business account and was told I had the wrong LLC document received from the NC secretary of State which I had the correct document. After leaving we contacted the branch back and spoke to the manager of the branch and they was suppose to look into this matter and she never return my call so we took our business elsewhere. They just didn't know what type of deposit customer they lost! Investigate this bank before doing business with them.
