I've been trying to get a new debit card for several months now from staff at this branch, and can't seem to get an answer on why it's taking so long. Staff also seems dismissive of the issue.

Branch staff in Hillsborough are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The bank is clean and welcoming. First National Bank took over this branch of Cardinal Bank, which was previously Yadkin Valley Bank. The staff has remained through all these changes and tries hard to please. For this long time customer, the continuity and personal service is positive and keeps me coming back. I have not done any complicated business so can't comment on a reviewer who had trouble closing a real estate deal.

Buyer and seller beware! We as sellers have been dealing with our clients bank (First National Bank) where Nolan is their bank lender consultant. We have been trying to get this home closed for 3 1/2 months now. We had a bidding war on this new home after just three days on the market, so the home is highly desirable. The buyers had great credentials and were putting a large sum of money down on the home. After an appraisal taking 3 weeks and another week and a half to come back they finally got the appraisal complete. They slowly asked for our buyers information and today the day of closing they needed additional information. Absolutely furious with the lack of respect for us as sellers and our buyers as well. I would highly suggest you seek a reputable consultant as well as bank! We flip houses and have worked with numerous banks and consultants and this by far has been the worst experience in my home selling career! I typically do not take the time to write reviews but I felt the need to educate other sellers and buyers that this bank is not the way to go if you are selling a home on your own.
