Teresa really needs to learn how to say thank you, I appreciate your business or just smile. She is the worst teller. I don’t like Truist for many reasons. But for the business I make deposits for uses them. Just wow on worst customer service in Erwin! Smile Teresa it’s not hard .😊😁 Come on get it together for your Customers … fake it till you make it!! At least at the Benson branch they say thank you and smile.5 stars Benson Branch !
Edit** I went to the Angier branch and they were able to help me with no issues. Not only that but, they were dumbfounded as to why the other teller treated me that way.
I went into this Truist branch to cash a personal check from my father, drawn on his Truist account. Instead of simply handling it, I was told they would have to call him for verification, then that his number in their system was “incorrect,” and finally that it didn’t matter if he called because they wouldn’t cash it anyway. Throughout the process, I was treated with suspicion and disrespect, as if I were trying to pull something dishonest, when all I wanted was to cash a legitimate check.
I had heard from multiple local companies about how poorly Truist treats people, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, my experience proved those warnings right. Because of how I was treated, I will never do business with Truist again, and I hope others think twice before trusting them with their money.

My wife and I have a mortgage, savings, and checking through Truist from when it was BB&T. Tried to get our son an account and they said we had to come in person to do that, meaning we would lose time from work. Our son got a birthday check from his grandmother and Truist charged him $8 to cash the check (the check was written on a Truist account). Unbelievable that Truist will steal from children. Looking forward to closing our accounts.

It’s not necessary to have an attitude with your customers. Customer service and kindness is becoming more rare!
