Bank of Vernon is a hometown bank that values providing quality financial services and building relationships in our communities. On November 11th, 1911 Bank of Vernon became the first bank chartered by the Alabama Banking Department. From our first location on the courthouse square in Vernon, Alabama in 2017 another location was added in Caledonia, Mississippi followed by Columbus, Mississippi in 2019. A second Columbus location is planned to open in Spring of 2021. Surviving many economic downtimes, Bank of Vernon remains a strong, well-capitalized, independent bank.
