United Credit Union has been in business since 1935 and has grown to be over a $250 million financial institution offering comprehensive financial services to over 28,000 members. We now have six locations in Mid-Missouri and continue to operate with you, our member, in mind. Like other credit unions, United Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative, owned and operated by its members. This makes credit unions different from all other financial institutions. Members put their money in a variety of savings accounts, and that money, in turn, is lent to members. After operating expenses and reserve requirements are met, loan income is returned to all members in the form of dividends and comprehensive financial services.
