I experienced appalling service and blatant profiling at this location today. I attempted to cash a check that had been signed over to me by my mother following a home sale. Despite my status as a business account holder, the staff—specifically an employee named Kim—put up every possible roadblock. Initially, I was told the transaction was possible, but the moment I pushed for transparency regarding my business account, the excuses became circular and dismissive. There was zero professional guidance and a complete lack of basic hospitality. The most disturbing part of the encounter was the harassment. After we ended the conversation and chose to leave, Kim followed us out of the building and onto the sidewalk to continue debating and lecturing us. This was a clear attempt to intimidate and belittle us, crossing the line from poor service into targeted harassment. I walked directly into another bank immediately afterward, where the staff processed the transaction effortlessly and apologized for the treatment I received. Because of the clear racism and discrimination displayed, I will be reporting this incident to the NAACP and am currently seeking legal counsel to sue for the discriminatory practices and harassment I endured today. This behavior is illegal and unacceptable. Avoid this location at all costs.

I don’t normally deal with anyone from this branch. I’m closer to the Frasier location. But I needed something from my own branch and my branch manager was on vacation the week before Easter, I was routed over to the manager at the Saint Clair Shores location who was covering for that manager. Much to my surprise it was one of the nicest and most helpful customer service experiences I have had in years. The manager at this location, whose name is Kim could not have been any nicer or any more helpful! It honestly was a pleasure to have gotten her on the phone. Just when you think that customer service is a lost or forgotten art someone like Kim comes along and renews your faith in humanity. PNC, I hope you’re listening this lady is somebody every manager within your many locations could take advantage of learning from. Bravo Kim, Bravo!

I am appalled and so personally offended. As if there's not enough bigger things to worry about.(i.e.. Why you're walks around the bank aren't even shoveled half the time... for many people who walk themselves, pets). As a customer, I pull into your lot in the back - out of the way to have an interview on the phone, where it's quiet with some noise and work going on at home. One of you women, probably the manager? (look like a Karen) pull in front of me with your lights in my face. Then, proceed to park 1 foot from me, pull next to me, roll down the window (when I politely engaged you & explained I'm on a call. Obvy) & you rudely, combatatively decree How this is parking for bank workers, What am I doing here? I said, excuse me, I'm sorry, I'm in the middle of a call. Would you mind if I take this? You proceeded to interrupt, I explained. I am sitting so I am not driving talking on the phone. In the back. As one of your customers, not threatening at all. I understand that's where your employees park, but there are over 15 spots. You needed to pull next to me. You must be very unhappy to be so negative and splitting hairs and worried about something so inconsequential. Is this the world we're in, not where you literally can't pull over in any spot without someone thinking you're a threat??!! I waited for 15 minutes for PD to come to and had all my documentation ready. So that you could make the officer stand out in this nasty weather. But obviously they have more important things to do. We will be pulling our accounts asap and personally.I am just sad for you.
