Just left there.
Really unenjoyable experience - which is unfortunate, because their site is actually quite spacious and charming, in a nice old building right in downtown.
The teller was terrible though, sorry not sorry. She was cold and to the point, and seeming to take glee in inconveniencing me as ever turn (asking for ID, debit card, refusing to offer pennies in any amount beyond $5 [which I suppose I can understand, because of the discontinuation, fine] and seemingly arbitrarily refusing to give nickels in an amount beyond $10). Also refusing to place any orders for any money at all in any amount -- that struck me as odd, and just seemed like she was 'sticking it to me' as she seemed to perceive me as an annoying customer from the moment I walked in, rather than any branch policy.
No smiles, no casual talk that makes a customer feel welcomed. ... Really cold and deflating experience - far different than I've received from their New Haven and now Chesterfield location.
I'm not sure if it was the same teller or not, but my wife spoke of a similar unwelcomed experience at that same Richmond branch a few days ago, too... Their management should really have a sit-down with that employee. Yuck.
*Note: the older lady who greeted me at the door was very kind. This branch needs more personalities like her and less of the personalities like the teller.
*To any management reading this, I'd appreciate a call to discuss. I'm sure you've got my number on-file; I've been a client for a decade and a half or so...(Not sure how much longer, after This experience!)

I was treated with nothing but respect from the tellers as well as the Branch Manager. They helped me with my banking needs to open a business account, very thorough explanation of how the account works and all types of perks that you obtain with the account as well as the opportunity to utilize many other services. Thanks so much for the great way you treat people.
