  They will transfer your loan to a new company after a month, and not verify who it is. You will receive about 20 letters saying they are from Flagstar, and your service is being transferred toa new lender, all with different lender companies. So you try to contact them to ensure you pay the correct lender, which it does not show on their portal where you used to pay. And you are greeted by a robot, which gives you pre-recorded information and then hangs up, with no option to talk to anyone. The actual team members are great. But the bank and it's loan system (glorified debt collectors), not so much. They should have basic verifications for issues like phishing.

  I am very unhappy with the service I’ve had here in regards to misplacing my debit card. Three weeks and I haven’t received it, one came incorrectly in the name of one of my other family members. Had to reissue in my name and now wait another 2-3 weeks. Representative did not even try to expedite it, because it would cost the company money. Has inflicted a great amount of stress and inconvenience on my life.

  Love this bank! Very helpful to small businesses! Nice to do business with a bank that really cares about not only clients and committed to helping you reach your goals but they do so much to support our community. Specifically would like to thank manager Brad Tkaczyk. Brad sits on two boards, ( that I know of), both focusing on children. He gives so much of his time and energy making a real impact! I'm always seeing Brad out in our community always asking what he can do to help. He is a true reflection of what FlagStar stands for. If you want to do business with a financial institution that is Michigan based AND truly cares, look no further, Flagstar is the bank for you!
