Money could be in your savings account, the company will still allow merchants to take money out of your checking account even at a zero balance making you go into negative then eventually pulling from your savings. What’s the point of a “savings account” if you’re not allowing me to save? Also what’s the point of allowing me to check “no overdraft” if you’re still letting merchants take money out of a zero account balance? PNC knows you have money in your savings so when a merchant tries to swipe a payment PNC will just let them even if you have no money in the primary checking. Other banks do not allow merchants to pull payments out of accounts if the funds are not available in that account. Why does PNC pull from my savings when I specifically told the banker to not allow overdraft!? Don’t have a savings account here, I don’t recommend it! I’m probably about to find a new bank anyway because the bankers never listen to your requests about your accounts, almost as if they just do what they want for you.
