- HBHazel BrookeFeb 4, 20261.0If you try cashing a PNC check be prepared to give them your first born. The young male cashier is rude and shouldn't be in customer service. Two forms of photo idea is not enough for them and asking for your car registration is beyond anything I have ever heard of. Worst bank to deal with.

I came in for a simple banking matter and was treated with outright contempt by an older female employee (looked to be in her late 50s or early 60s. She was condescending, dismissive, and spoke to me like I was wasting her time from the moment I walked up. I left the branch literally in shock at how rude and unprofessional she was. I’ve been a PNC customer for years, but this interaction made me seriously consider closing all my accounts. Customer service this hostile has no place in banking. Avoid this location if you want to be treated with basic respect.

I came in person with cash to deposit to correct an impending overdraft. A check wouldn't post to the account for 24-72 hours - then they get to take more money from me in fees!!! What a racket!!
