- CDChris DirasianJul 27, 20231.0My family still lives in Livonia and DET is responsible for the electric there. Unfortunately they do nothing to upgrade the grids. They have sister power lines that cross people's backyards and constantly have power outages. The sub city's need more choices for sources. DET cannot keep up. It's ridiculous. The pressure they put on their people to fix a too wide of area issue. Livonia. Plymouth, and others need to come together to figure out a better solution.
