  I absolutely hate DTE. My power lines are UNDERGROUND and if the wind slightly blows I would stake my life on it that we’re losing power. Not to mention it almost always takes AT LEAST 12 hours to get people to come out and look at the issue and AT LEAST another 12 to get the power restored. It’s so frustrating because it’s always just my street that loses power too, meanwhile the rest of the neighborhood keeps theirs just fine. I don’t know what the issue is BUT THAT’S WHAT WE PAY DTE FOR AND INSTEAD GET THE BARE MINIMUM SERVICE.

  CEO continues to pull in record breaking compensation packages every year while simultaneously requesting rate hikes every year. Abolish DTE! We need publicly owned utilities in Detroit!

  Trying to pay my bill was told to pay it without the 2.99 process fee I have to have a checking account how dare dte charge me a fee to pay my Bill on line they already charge a distribution fee for service just got approved for a raise in our bills and now this an outrage was told it wasn’t up to this trillion $company it’s the credit card company nonsense credit card companies charge businesses a flat rate to process payments this cost is on the business not the consumer Amazon doesn’t charge Kroger’s doesn’t charge only small business es charge only if your purchase is under a certain amount. Dte is getting very greedy I refuse to pay I will be paying my Bill minus the 2.99 on disability it’s not in my budget thousands and thousands of customers pay 2.99 to pay a bill they sent me they are robbing all there customers Shame on Dte talking advantage of all there customers I think there trying to recoupe all the refunds they had to pay for outages it’s all very bad business.

  In my area because I have worse infrastructure that they won't fix, I pay more in fees and delivery charges which make my bill substantially more than someone in cities like livonia and plymouth before I even flip on a light switch (if it will turn on) we get outages regularly as well. They just got a rate hike 5 days ago and are pushing for another one already. This company is gouging its customers like me for money while sponsoring music theaters, sporting events, and ads, while we pay for these things. Go back to just doing what you do well. Provide energy and have us pay fair rates.

  Out if the middle of nowhere my account that was on autopay randomly was no longer on autopay. Trying to fix on websight was impossible. I ended up having to call. After 29 minutes on hold I was told it was fixed. Just got bill in mail and sure as heck its not on auto pay. Uhg!
