With convenient locations throughout southeast Michigan, DTE Bill Payment Kiosks are safe and secure places to access your account information and make payments.
Dte is a scam and full of crap. First you forced people to link their bank account so avoid extra fees from paying via debit card number so I did that, then you denied payment from my business account that has way more than enough money in it then locked my account so I cannot pay online. I bet the news would have a field day with a story like this…

The lines across the street from my house were sparking two weeks ago in the middle of the night. I called the fire department and they immediately reported it to DTE. A representative of DTE (contractor) came out the following day, chose to do nothing about the hazard, and merely told us that it was because of trees.
Fast forward two weeks and a small blast that lit up the street has now rendered us all powerless. If you have a natural monopoly on a region, you must conduct your business with a higher degree of responsibility and safety. We don’t have the option to use a different competitor when our customer satisfaction and safety are not prioritized.
DTE should focus more on taking care of their customer base opposed to bulldozing thousands of acres of Michigan wildlife for AI data centers that will inevitably raise our electric bills and consume millions of gallons of our freshwater.

I absolutely hate DTE. My power lines are UNDERGROUND and if the wind slightly blows I would stake my life on it that we’re losing power. Not to mention it almost always takes AT LEAST 12 hours to get people to come out and look at the issue and AT LEAST another 12 to get the power restored. It’s so frustrating because it’s always just my street that loses power too, meanwhile the rest of the neighborhood keeps theirs just fine. I don’t know what the issue is BUT THAT’S WHAT WE PAY DTE FOR AND INSTEAD GET THE BARE MINIMUM SERVICE.

Trying to pay my bill was told to pay it without the 2.99 process fee I have to have a checking account how dare dte charge me a fee to pay my Bill on line they already charge a distribution fee for service just got approved for a raise in our bills and now this an outrage was told it wasn’t up to this trillion $company it’s the credit card company nonsense credit card companies charge businesses a flat rate to process payments this cost is on the business not the consumer Amazon doesn’t charge Kroger’s doesn’t charge only small business es charge only if your purchase is under a certain amount. Dte is getting very greedy I refuse to pay I will be paying my Bill minus the 2.99 on disability it’s not in my budget thousands and thousands of customers pay 2.99 to pay a bill they sent me they are robbing all there customers Shame on Dte talking advantage of all there customers I think there trying to recoupe all the refunds they had to pay for outages it’s all very bad business.
