Given the small waiting area, you would think they would have a sign which would help people step up to queue rather than crowd around the front doors (common sense) Today there was no line but nevertheless became unpleasant when one teller gestured me to come up only for the adjacent teller to cut me off mid deposit request and say “he is closed you have to wait”. So i watched two tellers be “closed” while i waited for a third to return from the back office. It is obvious the second teller just assumed I stepped up without direction. Regardless if I did, without signage, who cares!? This location always seems to have a bunch of people working but only one teller available. If more PNC locations in Montgomery county accepted cash like the good ole days, I wouldn’t go here. (I even tried going to another newer location but they never seem to have their “1” teller on duty when I go…. Since when is it so hard to deposit cash at a bank!?)

I have an account with them and I went in yesterday to open a second account joint with my husband. The manager didn’t even greet us and just asked me what we’re here for to which I responded to open a joint account. She sighed!!!! Then asked if we made an appointment. We didn’t! She rolled her eyes and shook her head as if we were an inconvenience and said they don’t have time for us and that we need to make an appointment for another day. She was very frustrated that we just walked in and treated us like we committed a crime! I felt embarrassed! We went to another bank and I am closing my account here. Your bank should treat you with respect and show you appreciation when you’re giving them business. There’s no reason for them to treat you like you’re an inconvenience. I can tell you PNC customer service has declined significantly and we won’t be their customer anymore.
