- EWElizabeth WestinApr 18, 20241.0I went to this bank for information about an existing account and was smooth-talked into opening a credit card with zero interest rate for a year to help pay off a preexisting loan, but the catch was I had to make a $216 bank transfer (had no idea there was a fee). It's been 3 weeks and I still have my old loan, now a new loan, a bank transfer fee to pay, and no tangible credit card. I emailed the bank and haven't received a response. I had to call PNC and figure it out on my own over the phone. DO NOT listen to these employees. DO NOT take their advice. They try to be your friend, take advantage of you, and leave you with more debt and confusion than you went in with.

Once i got there i was greeted and told otherwise. In the end they refuse to deposit the check because the second party needs to be present. The whole point in me calling was to make sure what the process was. Wasted my time and energy.
