Went in to close my account as I would be moving to a situation where PNC doesn't have a presence. And they made it almost impossible to close my account. I'd give them zero stars if I could. Garbage bank thay employees garbage people

What a waste of time. I was told that my coin deposit needed to be rolled so that I could complete my deposit. Fair enough I proceeded to roll approximately $210 in loose change. Once completed I initiated the bank deposit with the bank teller.
Out of nowhere a male employee storms out of the back administrative office and declares that they do not accept rolled coin deposits at that location and that I need to go to one of their “Full Service” stand-alone locations. He handed me a flyer that recommended I visit their Olney location.....
If they had explained that earlier I would’ve gone there immediately instead I’m stuck with a deposit that will not be completed until tomorrow! They definitely missed the ball on training their employees adequately.

This is an honest review for this location, and NOT a review of PNC as an entity etc.. I've had to visit this site on several occasions as it's the only real BRANCH in the area, not some cut out inside of a grocery store. Every time I arrive, I'm professionally welcomed regardless of how I am dressed for the day, and the premise has "ample parking" and is clean.
Today, I came 10 minutes before closing in which, my transaction, which included major documentation, photo copies, etc, was handled surprisingly by the receptionist at the door (front desk). I was out before they closed, mind you, there were several customers there. (calling head and addressing the reason for your visit ahead of time seems to GREATLY improve all of my experiences because SOMEONE there is aware of your presence and need.)
I'm not sure if the unfortunate circumstances the other customer faced at this facility, as I've had to get a new card printed here also, which took 10 minutes.. During the lunch rush. Mind you, green turtle bar is next door.
I can sincerely say, the employees here are professional and proudly, demographically diverse. The half dozen times I've used their services, I can recall with absolution, that every time I'm in there, they're busy, yet, I see the team work, dedication, and communication, some of which work related, others, times of laughter to lighten the tension of a busy vestibule. These folks are on point. 4 stars out of the 5, ONLY because in honest review, the location sucks lol. Shared parking with an adjacent bar and competing bank, is a bit rough when getting in and out.
Hope this helps. Kudos to those employees.. And if PNC corporate is reading this, pay them a ghost visit, see for yourself, then after you witness true consistent professionalism, give them proper mention within your own corporation.. Trust me, it means something.

I called.l before I came to the bank to ask if they have replacement debit cards. . They stated he's great because my son goes to school right up the street so it was very convieant . However when arriving none of the tellers had access to give me a card mine you it's now 4:30 and bank closed at 5:00. Rhe manager or assistant manager was the only one who could give me a replacement card however their was only one person available and she has a customer in her office . She not once aknowledged that I was out in the lobby waiting nor did any of her tellers inform her that she has another customer waiting for a replacement card . She was to busy trying to ope a credit card for someone . I guessing you get point for the accounts you open . However terrible service terrible customer service . I have been with pnc bank for 12 years when they first started and I have never experienced this type of customer service in my life . Communication and customer service is everything and they as a team failed
