  Awful customer service Put on hold forever and disconnected And never got a call back. Less than helpful people here Would not recommend!

  In this day and age of everything being on your phone for a small business that has a long-standing relationship with a bank and who desperately needs money when they come in to cash a check. The fact that you will not accept anything but a physical ID or card is pretty ridiculous.

  Went to PNC ridgeville bank IN PERSON with a cashiers check and personal check. Was informed by the Manager -cesar. M ridgeville bank manager, mt. Airy that since its Friday, it would post on Tuesday. I wasnt thrilled that a cashiers check at PNC bank takes that long to post. Now today is thursday, and I am busy doing grocery. At the cashiers i learn that my card cannot process bec no payment made. Its 5 DAYS AFTER POSTING A CASHIERS CHECK!!!! Had to use a check to pay for grocery. Beats the purpose of having a CC . I then called main line spoke with customer service who wasnot able to resolve the issue; they just emphasized that i should have opened a checking account so is easier to pay for CC. He then refered me to a lady called Nicole who he said was the manager. She attempted to help. 34min later, she had to call “ the manager” bec there was a pending placed on the cashiers check. After back and forth, had to drive back to ridgevile to ask the manager about the“ check clearing on tuesday” and its now thursday. Back to Nicole the manager, even though she was very professional and nice, she couldn’t answer my questions and had no idea why there’s a hold on essentially my money that i brought to the bank in person. I returned to bank in person found manager cesar. Who also didn’t understand why the money wasn’t released on Tuesday. So PNC, does it take an entire bank 6 days in the year 2025 to clear a cashiers check. I hear its same as cash!!!!! And it takes over 7 business days to clear a personal check paid online which, in the past caused me late payment fees before i caught on that PNC system is rigged to rip off unsuspecting customers like me. I have have had other cards with online payments from others banks taking just 3 days to clear. Its a huge money making scheme. I guess its time to pay off the card and let it expire. I even thought of opening a checking acct with PNC. Glad i was dragging my feet.

  Never had a pleasant experience at this branch. A few months ago I brought in a document to notarize and the guy point blank refused to notarize it because it was "a court document" - it was an application to take the Bar exam. Just went there today to get my name updated and again the same guy, Sam, said he couldn't do it. He offered to make an appointment for another day, but after we just stared at each in silence for a minute, I left. Ironically, this same dude calls me at least once a week to spam marketing for other things they want me to spend money on. But when it comes to just basic customer service, they are completely unable to help. I've been banking with PNC for 10 years, but it feels pretty clear it's time to change banks.

  I have banked with this PNC bank for many years and have always been very pleased with the service. Everyone is very helpful and pleasant. AJ has always gone out of his way to help. I highly recommend this bank
