- SLSteve LaceyAug 22, 20251.0Been trying to deposit checks since Tuesday they delayed all of them and told me to call a 800 number and the lady told me it was valid and would be in the account within 24-48 hours so I call the bank and they told me they returned the money back to the original place it was from and then I tried another check and they delayed that one too and I called the 800 number again just to find out the first one that I was told was completely fine and was going to go in to my account within 24-48 hours was all of a sudden not valid now and that they were going to review the second check I put in then a day later that one gets sent back to the original place it was from and I am trying one more time and they already delayed that one to be honest don’t waste your time at this bank.

She said I need to mail them to the Department of Treasury, along with specific paperwork. I didn’t think that sounded right, so I went to the Virginia Ave location. They were able to deposit the bonds for me right on the spot with no problem. The managers at this Dual Hwy location need to ensure that their staff are trained properly.
