  Hello - earlier I posted a review that was negative, after speaking with the manager today I deleted it , he explained everything to me and made my experience a lot better . I will say they are understaffed , I watched the manager run the teller and manage , as another manager I must say I respected the fact he got involved !

  I was in the Pnc Bank in Big Elk Mall in Elkton, Maryland & branch manager Kendyl Jones could not have been more helpful… She went above and beyond any expectation I had. Her level of customer service is exemplary… I’m not a big customer… I don’t have a lot of money in either my checking or my savings account but she treated me with such dignity and respect that I felt like I was a millionaire… Thank you so much for this level of guest service… I could not be happier… I will definitely tell all my friends!   Imagine going to a bank and making a joke about the government. Nothing off color, nothing insulting. One teller gets offended, curses you under her breath, cries to her boss, and PNC closes all your accounts WITHOUT EXPLANATION! Branch pretends they know nothing about it. A disgraceful and disgusting manner in which to treat a decades-long client with a very substantial balance. Perhaps it's a godsend - inept management and ridiculous fees. Oh, and PNC? Please don't bother reacting with your canned responses.

  I frequent this location to cash checks for my job. Most times I’m able to complete the transaction with little to no hassle until today. Initially, I went to the drive up teller. Instead of cashing the checks at the window, I was asked to come inside the branch. I’ve cashed a large sum (less than $1500) at the drive thru, which would just require the teller to send the container more than once. I guess that was too much of an inconvenience for her. I then go inside the branch. The teller was pleasant enough but gave me all the cash loose. I had to ask for a rubber band. The cash is usually counted then wrapped in paper. The teller didn’t place any of the cash in my hand, the same with my drivers license. It’s extremely rude to place money or anything that someone has handed to you on a counter. And to slide it on the counter like you couldn’t hand it to me is offensive. I would expect someone working in retail to be aware of that. I wouldn’t go to this branch at all if it weren’t for my job.
