  I had a very disappointing experience with Sevenfold Federal Credit Union. While they promote themselves as being helpful, my experience was the complete opposite. Every minor detail was heavily scrutinized to a level that felt excessive compared to standard industry practices. Instead of a straightforward and transparent underwriting process, it felt inconsistent and overly subjective. What stood out the most was the lack of clarity and fairness in decision-making. It did not feel aligned with the spirit of the Fair Credit Reporting Act or typical lending standards. Rather than evaluating applications objectively, the process felt influenced by personal discretion, which raises concerns about fairness and consistency. Overall, I would not recommend Sevenfold Federal Credit Union based on my experience. If you are looking for a financial institution that operates with transparency, efficiency, and clear guidelines, you may want to consider other options

  Unfriendly, very poor customer service. Never calls you when they tell you they will call for an appointment. Does not reply to voicemail. I called on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, asking what CD rates were, after the girl told me, I asked if a particular person was available, she put me on hold, it went to voicemail, I left a detailed message. After not hearing back from her, on my next trip back to Louisiana, I went to the branch, told the girl I wanted to close out my accounts due to poor service, she instructed me to the next teller, I told her what happened, and instead of apologizing, she went into her computer trying to prove me wrong and saying she didn't have any voicemail that day from me, NEVER apologizing at all. Yes, I closed my accounts and would never use them again, nor referr anyone to them. They always acted like they were doing you a big favor, all while having a frown on their faces.

  What a joke!! Wouldn't waste my time considering that If you use this credit union and write someone a check, they cannot come to your bank that the check is written on and cash that check if they themselves aren't a member!! Of course you can deposit it into your own account but that's not always preferable when cashing a check.
