I gave up trying to do any kind of family banking business with
this branch (trusts, wills, estates having to do with $). Very poor,
and unprofessional. My last time in there (and I do mean LAST),
ALL I needed to complete some paperwork was to have a notary
signature so $ and title ownership could be transferred to me
from my deceased parents involving computer share documents
and accounts. ALL the necessary prior steps had been done. Not
only was I rudely told (by a lady with a foreign accent) that they
were all on lunch breaks and would have to come back tomorrow
or schedule an appointment, after telling them I wanted to speak
to a manager, I was told it would have to go to document legal
review. I explained I had ALREADY been through all of this in prior
meetings with them on this, but she wouldn't budge. Like a stone.
Unbelievable! I went to the Plainview PNC branch, where I was
warmly greeted and a very professional, courteous lady took care
of this matter for me, so I could get this transaction moving and
this was my FIRST time in there! At another nearby PNC branch
on some later business, I explained to the lady how refreshing it
was to have nice, courteous service and about my experiences at
the Hikes Point branch. She said she knew EXACTLY who and what
I was talking about with that branch! Horrible.
