- JMJay McCoyOct 6, 20231.0I took my 83-year-old uncle today for his about quarterly bank visit. He trades only in cash or check, so I take him to this PNC at Fayette Mall every four or five months to withdraw cash. He has been banking with them at this location for 30+ years. Today, the manager said he could not use the city senior ID he has always used as identification at that branch and then became rude and condescending when I answered that he did not have nor use credit cards. She never said why he could not use that ID nor respond to my questions as to what other ID he needed or why had they changed their standards. Note that we have them a copy of his most recent statement with the ID card. Luckily, there was a teller present who knew my uncle, and for some reason, he was able to complete the request with no issue. We will be looking to take all of his accounts elsewhere. And from other reviews I have read, I would recommend you look elsewhere if you or your loved one is over 80.
