The vision of Hometown Bank began in late fall of 1999 when a group of approximately 200 local individuals dreamed of a bank that would truly care about, be committed to and involved in both its customers and its community. That dream was realized when Hometown Bank opened its doors for business on April 3, 2000, with only a handful of employees in one location. In the years that have since passed, Hometown Bank is now made up of almost 60 employees in five locations within our tri-county community. Hometown Bank wants to be THE bank that our community trusts and loves…a place where people can come not only for their financial needs, but also a place where they can come just to relax and visit for a while with friends.
