- LLLi LindaDec 14, 20251.0We are truly desperate and extremely disappointed with our experience. We used James to prepare my mother’s taxes this year, and it has been an absolute disaster. My mother's tax return and refund has not been showing in the state system and we have contacted him many times—via email, phone calls, and in-person visits—over the past several months asking him to please resend it. He has been very difficult to even get in touch with. At this point, we are planning to file the taxes ourselves because we have not been able to get needed help or communication from him. This has been the worst accountant experience we have ever had. We paid for his services hoping for peace of mind and to ensure everything was done correctly, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
