Michael Pearson is outstanding. Always delivers when needed. Highly recommend using Mike when you are at this branch.

I went to the bank today to make a deposit and was told that all cash deposits need 2 pieces of ID. I provided 4 and was still asked to check my phone for a code. My phone was in my truck and i did not want to return to the truck because i was in a hurry. I simply needed to make 2 deposits.
I usually go to the PNC branch in Brownsburg and it is always fast and efficient. I also go to the branch on Rockville road frequently. I have never been asked for 2 forms of ID. The justification of the teller was that it was required for her to keep her job. Supposedly, she could lose her job if she didn’t see two forms of id. Why haven’t the people that I see at the other branches lost their jobs if that is the case???
I was a teller 19 years ago for a few years and worked in the bank for many years as a banker and a manager. There was no need for my transaction to take so long. It took at least 6-7 minutes. The $1,582 in cash that I brought was counted by machines twice and checked my hand once more.
The branch is beautiful but my experience was not consistent with the experience that I received at other branch.
Going to the bank has become such a pain in the neck, that I actually go through the drive through. I went through the drive through today, but the staff member made me get out of my truck to go inside, give 4 types of ID AND that was STILL not enough to complete my transaction.
On a positive side, the teller did attempt to change my pin on my debit card but due to time I wasn’t able to do it. This attempt of her in helping me means something because I have gone to other PNC branches and they all tell me that a teller can’t help me and only a banker can… now that I think about it, that is also inconsistent.

(1) Most of the staff here (Zionsville branch) are either immature, uninformed, and/or rude. Not all, but the majority. If PNC was the last bank on earth, I’d honestly keep my money under the mattress.
(2) They were going to charge me $700 for one cashier’s check. The checks I was cashing to try to get the cashier’s check were from an international life and annuity company over 100 years old WHICH BANKS AT PNC. SMH. I didn’t get the cashier’s check, needless to say.
(3) Mr. Pearson was the only banker who attempted to actually help me, and one of the very young women gave him grief for offering me a product favorable to me and my banking needs. It was the most anti-customer service thing I have ever seen.
(4) PNC has the most primitive, clunky mobile app I have ever seen. It’s right out of the 1990s.
(5) I had one experience in the Columbus, IN branch, and it was much better. I was greeted, my needs were assessed, then promptly and pleasantly met. I only point this out as an exception to the Zionsville style of customer service.
Need I say more?
