- SLStephen Leonard3 days ago1.0Issued a check to an account holder with this bank only to have them hold it (which I get) but at the end of the hold they tell the account holder we're returning the funds. No branch managers (maybe a lie) hold for 59.17 minutes for the foreign call center to hangup on both account holder and check issuer. This is why I do not personally deal with large banks. Only local banks. If you are a PNC account holder run and run quick.

The lady in the front office says she can’t help me open a checking account because they close in 15 minutes. What a joke. Thanks but no thanks. If I have to wait to open an account I will wait to open one elsewhere. I won’t even go into details about this women’s condescending attitude towards me when I told her I will find a different bank. #stayclassyPCN
- JMJust MeMar 20, 20211.0Opened checking account with a a check of over $2,000. I understood it would take a fair amount of time to clear due to the amount, even though it was a insurance check. It took 3 weeks for funds to made available, only to freeze them again for some unexplained reason. Till this day, no one can explain why. Finally, funds were released. As time progressed, I noticed that this bank is very fee driven. Lol...they tell me I must keep a $1,000 minimum balance (first it was $400), yet I have emails telling me $100.00 minimum balance. Couldn't get account closed quick enough. And to pour salt in the wound they inflict, they charge you a closing fee. Wow.
