I am writing to formally report a highly unprofessional experience at this branch. Unfortunately, the manager’s handling of my request was confusing, inconsistent, and unacceptable.
I visited the branch to have a replacement debit card printed, as my previous card had expired. Initially, I was told this could not be done because my account was overdrafted. While still at the branch, I transferred funds to resolve the issue. After that was corrected, I was then told I could not receive a card because additional proof was required to verify my identity and account ownership.
I provided all requested verification, including the security code sent via text, my driver’s license, and my Social Security number. Despite this, I was then given a different reason for denial: that my account had “too many addresses” associated with it. I have been a PNC customer for nearly ten years, and having multiple addresses over that time is neither unusual nor inappropriate. This explanation felt arbitrary and was never clearly justified.
If there were a legitimate concern regarding account security, it is unclear why I would otherwise be permitted to have a debit card mailed to my address. I was seeking an in-branch replacement only because I was traveling and needed timely access to my card.
Overall, the manager’s demeanor and decision-making felt unprofessional and inconsistent, and I left without a resolution. This experience has significantly impacted my confidence in PNC, and based on this interaction, I am strongly considering closing my account.

Go to Zionsville instead if you are a person of color. Literally told me I'm not a regular customer when I have more than what their tellers get paid for a year in my account. Made me have to jump through as many hoops as possible just to withdraw some money. People need to learn how to be respectful to customers. This is why ai is replacing people. When people think being mildly competent at their job is an acceptable standard, it's easy for computers to replace you. Not just that at least the ai doesn't discriminate unless it's programmed to. Sad,expected better from Lebanon.
