Horrible experience. Don't trust this bank. Very dishonest people at the bank locally and at the main PNC number. After the experiences this week I will be closing my account here. If Dana says she will help, or even call back, don't trust her. She will look for any way TO NOT assist you. These people are not there to help you, and certainly couldn't care less about you.

I've been at this location since it was National City. There have been hiccups over the years, but nothing that couldn't be resolved, even though everyone who used to work there is now gone. Never had an issue opening up an account for one of my children to start their banking experience, but today was different. I'm not sure why.
I was told by the blonde teller that I had to wait for a banker. No problem. As I was walking away to have a seat, she asked for my name. No problem. I told her, and she typed it in. Asked if my minor daughter had ID. I said passport and SS card. Teller then asked if she had a second form of ID. Um... I said I was her mother, so I am her 2nd form of ID. Then asked if I had my debit card. I said yes, along with my various CCs from PNC. She asked if I had ID. I said yes, passport and driver's license. She asked what type of account. I said whatever account for a 15yo, probably checking. She then, asked for my name again. I gave it, again, but was getting aggravated at this point. She says, "you don't have to be rude." I just walked out at that point. No where in that interaction did the teller mention anything about, "Hey, you'll have to see a banker, but let me get some information to get the process started". Of corse, I may have been a bit rude, but she never once explained anything of why she was questioning me even though she couldn't help me. Mind you, I was trying to walk away to have a seat after every question. To me, the conversation was over as soon as she said, "You'll have to talk to a baker", with no further explanation to questioning. I'll either go to another branch, or just open an account at my car loan bank and get her set up there.

My online banking was suspended and the number I was given from the website was negative help. No help to the point I was ready to pull my assets and move them to a new bank. I called my hometown bank which has always been good to me, and Ms. Melanie M. was extremely kind, understanding, respectful, and helpful. All traits that were absent from the representatives from the main PNC line. Ms. Melanie M. went above and beyond to help me, and valued my concerns. I was 99% sure I would be leaving PNC after this situation, but Ms. Melanie M. brought me back. I hope she is rightfully valued at the company because she could not have been better to me. Thank you Melanie!!!
