Good luck trying to reach anyone on the phone at this bank. Four different times I waited on hold for 15+ minutes and then their automatic system dropped my call. I found a spot on their website to set up a time for a banker to call me. No one ever called. I registered an official complaint with PNC’s main customer service number and received no follow up. After finally just going into the bank, a teller shared her frustration that there is no one to answer incoming calls and this branch is without a manager. Very disappointing as we are fairly new to the area and selected this bank so we would have a good local bank.

Very unprofessional. How are they still in business? The experience i had is one you'd only expect to have if you walked into a bank located in a poor neglected Detroit Michigan neighborhood or something. One teller was on the phone the entire time I was there and trust me it was over 20 minutes. She was really loud and obviously speaking with a customer but what bothered me is that she didn't take the person's privacy into consideration because she was heard all throughout the floor. The other tellers didn't even have the courage to pull her aside to get her in order. They all seem used to it. Speaking of in order, the ATMs are certainly not. A customer standing at the counter became upset and started going at it with a teller. This is why I just don't recommend this bank. The cons outweigh the pros. I read the other posted reviews and the owner doesn't respond. That's a huge red flag. If you are planning on banking here, you should reconsider. Although the town in which this pnc branch is located is not the greatest, it's still somewhat greater than this bank. Which is not a good thing because Kankakee is listed as one of the worst cities in Illinois. This bank doesn't even belong in Kankakee. It belongs in some type of rat infested city with graffiti, bums, condemned buildings, stray dogs, garbage pollution, junkies, and cockroaches everywhere. Thats how horrible it is because the tellers are so unprofessional and rude and the ATMs are not working properly. They are set in their ways here and there's almost no point in expecting things to get better. From the looks of it, they have been this way for a very long time so if you're reading this, you belong elsewhere. You deserve better.
