- TTThorInspectorSep 9, 20251.0PNC is the worst bank, if you have a loan you cannot add additional money to the principal with your payment, they took that option off their statement. The statement has a block that states check here for principal only and they put the whole payment towards principal. Well now how can I make my actual loan payment? Oh every month go to an actual branch, ridiculous. I've been trying for over a month to drop escrow from my account. Each time I overcome one of PNC obstacle, for instance you have to request it, wait two weeks for a written response which contains something you need to fix before they look at it. For instance remove PMI from account, I don't have PMI but now must wait on PMI letter. After that I have to request again to start process over. This bank tries everything to keep draining you. I didn't even start with then but they bought my loan and now I'm stuck. Stay away

Even so PNC approved me a home loan. The Fannie Mae grant helped a lot & although more responsibility I feel much better being in my own 🏠 home. A quiet neighborhood despite squirrel 🐿️ trouble 🚫 in the beginning. I give 5 Stars to my realator & PNC going on three years.
