I have called this branch a few times to set up appointments, and have always been greeted by Tai, who is very clear on the phone and very friendly. Honestly everyone here has been really friendly towards me.
I had an appointment with Andrea who is so professional and nice - to apply for an auto loan, she shared all of her knowledge with us and even gave suggestions on how to move forward with applying for the loan.
I was approved the next day and went into a car dealership, who was extremely difficult, rude, and very unprofessional. Brandon, the PNC manager had to get involved with the issues I had faced.
Listen, if you want people who will fight tooth and nail for you and with you. This is the team right here. I felt taken care of and like i had a whole army behind me trying to make a positive move in my life. Knowing that my bank would be right there with me on call if I wanted them to be part of the dealership conversation. We dodged that one dealership and went with a different compant all togethrt, now we have a nice blue car because PNC had my back!

I'm a customer of PNC since July 2015 and I also have accounts at Bank of America, Chase and a business account at US Bank. So i've been dealing with customer service and bank employees from more then one bank in the city of Chicago.
Opened a joint checking account with my wife more then a year ago. There was a good bonus offer ($300) and that's the main reason we went with PNC. In order to get the bonus i had to fulfill some conditions and one of them was a direct deposit check of $5000 or more. At that time, i had a MoneyGram check of greater value and when i asked the staff of this branch if it qualifies, they assured me it was ok. Needless to say it didn't qualify and i never received the bonus.
About 2 months ago i had couple of checks to deposit. Being pretty busy i decided to do it on the go, and downloaded the app. After i deposited the first one, i got a couple of error messages, and decided to read the instruction again. I noticed i was supposed to write something on the back of the check. I did that for all of them, including the first one that was already accepted. Next day when i checked the balance i noticed one of the checks deposited twice and the balance reflected the double deposit. Took a trip to this branch and explained the lady at the counter what happened. She said it's no big problem and by Tuesday morning (it was Friday morning) all should be fine, and the person that issued the check will be refunded. Talked to the guy, told him about my mistake and informed him of the incoming refund. Tuesday morning when i check my balance, the double deposit was still there. Talk to the guy, nothing from PNC in his account. Call the branch, talk to the same lady, she tells me that the back office took longer to take care of the issue but she will talk to them and let me know. Later that day i get a call from her and she tells me that it is going to take at least one more week of investigations and the person that issued the check should call their bank and dispute the transaction. I say this is unacceptable and i will find another solution. I did a cash transfer through another bank. And i thought that was the end of it... About a month after the whole incident i get an email that "An adjustment was made to my account", and true enough my account was debited with the amount of the deposited check. When i called (this time the customer service and not the branch) to see what's going on, a lady explained to me that the second time i tried to deposit the same check the system didn't accept it, and the money never left the account of the person that issued the check. My account did show a balance as if i deposited two checks with the same amount, and that was the adjustment. So, in the end, i tried to solve a problem that wasn't there.
In conclusion, the team at this branch is young, inexperienced and not very well trained. They provide information without verifying its validity first. As a good thing, cause i hate to post only the bad traits, they are very polite and willing to help.
This is the reason why this branch gets one star review.
The PNC products are ok; i like the 3 account structure that makes it easier to manage your finances. I would rate them at 2 stars (downgraded from 3 stars due to the popmoney issue described). Recently my wife, which is also owner of the account, tried to use their popmoney service and all alerts went off and they blocked all access until i called customer service and asked what's going on. They couldn't tell me why this happened, and assured me that she also has full access to the account.
The customer service is polite, knowledgeable and fast to solve any issues they can take care of. By far, the most positive experience in dealing with PNC. I'm a bit annoyed that they never answer the why question even though they have the resources to find out what went wrong. All in all, a 3.5 stars for customer service.
As a conclusion I would not recommend PNC as your main bank.
