Self-Help Federal Credit Union was chartered in 2008 to build a network of branches that partner with working families and communities that have historically faced systemic barriers to financial inclusion. Our mission is to create and protect opportunity for all, especially people of color, women, rural residents and low-wealth families and communities. We do this by providing responsible financial services, lending to small businesses and nonprofits, developing real estate and promoting fair financial practices.
Self-Help Federal Credit Union has over $2 billion in assets and serves more than 93,000 members with 38 branches in California, Illinois, Washington, and Wisconsin.
