- GJgeorge bevan jrJan 13, 20265.0We live in Adams County, Idaho, just outside the city limits of New Meadows. The only bank in town is the New Meadows branch of Idaho First Bank. Our branch is community driven, and outstanding in every respect. Our branch manager, Cammi, is the best. She's professional, smart, honest, and always there to insure your visit is enjoyable. Her staff mirrors her dedication to making every visit an enjoyable experience. Cammi makes sure there are flowers in the hanging boxes outside the bank, she spreads salt at the bank entrance when there are icy conditions, there is always something to eat when you enter the bank, and her desk is customer accessible in the center of the branch. I say community driven because the staff knows everyone by their first names, and the branch supports community events, such as our annual fire department fundraiser, where the bank staff has their own table and supplies items for auction/raffle. I'm sure they do other things to make our community a better place, that I'm not aware of. The staff pays particular attention to the "ready teller" outside the bank because it's heavily used, especially after hours and on weekends when the bank is closed. There is no fee for use of the ready teller and for most other transactions in the bank. The bank has a machine to count your coins, and it's fun when you and your teller try to guess the amount!! A no-frills no-fee high-yield account with online transfers to and from your local bank’s savings account only. Interest credited at the end of each month. You can ignore everything you read on-line about this account being a “scam” - it is legit.
