He’s a veteran, an experienced banker, and an all-around solid human. He brings military-level precision to every detail, but with real compassion, which is a rare combo in banking. You’re never treated like “Account #47291”—he actually looks out for what’s best for you, not just what looks good on a spreadsheet. And shoutout to Jessie, Sarah, and Lizbeth, who are all incredibly knowledgeable, pleasant, patient, and accommodating across Operations, New Accounts, and Teller line. They don’t just shove paperwork at you and vanish—they explain things like they genuinely want you to understand them. Bottom line: D.L.   I can’t say my dealings with DL Evans have been great. After hearing a friend rant and rave about them I feel like I missed something. In both occasions that we have had home loan dealings with them we were disappointed . In the 1st building loan occasion they took so long to look over the paperwork (because the one person was on vacation) that we almost lost the property. The 2nd time we were quoted a lower interest rate by our mortgage broker and DL Evans added on a whole 1% because our credit score was 5 points from excellent and wouldn’t honor it. They wouldn’t even work with us. For being a local bank we felt like just a number.
