Reluctantly used this post office again to change some currency, firstly I was abruptly told to ‘just go to a bank’ as if this post office wasn’t my last resort. Then told they didnt hold more than 30 pounds!? Whilst being served an elderly man was gestured to ‘shoo’ backwards as he was too close and told like a small child to just leave his parcel on the end of the desk and asked ‘can you not see?’. Neither he nor she that work there have even basic social skills when dealing with customers never mind customer service skills.

The lady is rude. Doesn’t have any knowledge of GDPR and talks to you like you are a piece of dog muck!! Looking at the reviews now she needs to be shut down. Spoke to the Royal Mail and they know about her as they receive complaints frequently. I have previously used the branch with my partner present and had no issue, so don’t know if she just has an issue with males. Go use the post office in Brereton(coop) redbrook lane. in and out and very friendly service! Just like it should be!! They also know all about the issues with the other post office too!! Avoid this branch!!

The woman behind the counter today clearly hates her job... that's okay though, because if she continues to drive customers to one of the other relatively local Post Offices then eventually she won't have to work at all; and the high street would be better for it. I don not enjoy speaking ill of people but attitude is completely misanthropic and incredibly misandrist (male version of 'misogyny'). I urge anyone who has had a similar experience, or witnessed her horrendous mannerisms to others to make a formal complaint to the Post Office organisation itself, because although likely looked at for reference in a complaint; simply leaving a bad review on here isn't bringing this branch's appalling treatment of their customers to their attention directly. Use this link: https://www.postoffice.co.uk/contact-us/in-branch-customer-experience And be as detailed as possible. The more people who complain via proper channels the better. At the very least it may lead to some formal training and education on how Post Offices are supposed to function and official policies they run by and not just the ones she makes up and enforces with her 'holier-than-thou' attitude. I plan on getting some exercise and using the Brereton or Upfields branches from now on... the walk there and back is worth avoiding such a toxic woman who seemingly only derives pleasure from making other more miserable than herself. Please consider following my example; save yourself the heartache. I have always been polite and well mannered to her in the past; I took note but didn't take any of the other comments here or what have been said to me in person with any weight to them, as I tried to only allow my own personal experiences affect how I perceived this woman... I clearly was a fool. Well, we learn from out mistakes. I have put in my official complaint; please do the same, it won't cost you anything and maybe if enough people do the Post Office may revise their choice in who staffs the town centre location in the future. ===== To the person who reads this during the appeal process; because it keeps getting rejected: Please point out to me specifically why it is being rejected. What personal details are included? That website URL is a publicly accessible one and not 'personal', I provided it of ease of access to others who may find it useful. =====

I can see why all the negative comments. I found the woman unpleasant, unhelpful and tries to rip you off with the most expensive form of postal service. Won't be going there again.
