A banking hub is a shared space providing easy access to everyday cash and face-to-face banking services for customers of the major banks.
At this hub you can withdraw cash, pay in cash and cheques, check your balance, pay bills, and access change-giving services (for registered businesses).
You can also speak to a community banker from your bank on the day they’re in the hub (no appointment needed). They can help with account queries, fraud support, Power of Attorney and much more.
The banking hub is owned by Cash Access UK and operated by the Post Office.

The banking hub is excellent. The staff are so friendly, Kerry on the desk and Dan the barclays advisor was brillant. Lovely friendly atmosphere and they make you feel at ease straight away. Would definitely recommend. Dan talked me through everything and was extremely helpful and professional.

My local branch of Barclays has now closed. I needed to deposit a cheque into my account. Parking was very close and there were no queues whatsoever. The staff were knowledgable and friendly. There is clear information regarding when you can meet face-to-face with representatives from your own bank. It’s tricky for those who work office hours as they are closed at the weekend so I had to travel over in my lunch break. It’s a compromise from the high street bank but that’s not the Banking Hub’s issue at all. A good idea and a very smartly presented place to do your general banking business even when your bank’s representatives are not there. Please visit to ensure we keep this facility!
