This post office is not disabled friendly, and has not made reasonable adjustments (by law) under the Equality act 2010 to make it accessiable for those with wheelchairs or disabled badge pushchairs to use/entry their post office. The doors are always closed and very stiff and hard to push, and they do not have a disabled automatic push button for them to open. The staff will not help to open them either when asked they will always say they're busy. The ground floor to enter/exit the shop is dangerous, and the flooring needs repairing majorly, it has not been for years, and it's got worst and worst over time and is so bad people walking have even tripped and fallen over it and hurt themselves badly, you can't get a wheelchair or pushchair over it, in their safety even if the doors were able to open for one to do so. The shop owners are not friendly of, and do not accept those with Autism or obvious neuro-diversity, they make this very clear. One young boy was shouted at for bringing in his service dog registered ESA into the shop with him, and this meant his mother couldn't post her mail. When contesting this with them stating it was unlawful, the man owner and woman there then shouted at the mother in front of her child about it. They made the boy cry, it was terriable to wittness. A lady in a wheel chair also was refused trying to enter as it was busy and they didn't want the doors open both at the same time to stay open. Horriable discriminative treatment. It's an easy stop but I would not invest in such inhumane cruelity by posting mail there. The post office round the corner from there is better.

Do I need to bring identification if I'm buying or exchanging currency in a branch?

If you are buying currency and paying by card then you will need to bring one of the following; Valid passport Valid UK or EEA photocard driving licence EEA identity card We cannot accept anything other than one of these documents. We may also ask for ID for some cash transactions and we may need to verify your identity electronically while you are at the counter (this is not a credit check). You will need to have a permanent UK residential address in order for us to be able to do this. We will not be able to proceed with the transaction if we cannot verify your identity.

What currencies can i load onto a Post Office Travel Money Card?

You can load any of the following currencies on to your card. The card can hold up to 22 currencies at once, but they can only be loaded one at a time: Euro, US dollars, Australian dollars, Canadian dollars, New Zealand dollars, Thai baht, UAE dirham, Turkish lira, South African rand, Swiss francs, Polish zloty, pounds Sterling, Chinese yuan, Czech koruna, Danish kroner, Hong Kong dollar, Hungarian forint, Japanese yen, Norwegian krone, Saudi riyal, Singapore dollar or Swedish krona.
