Excellent local facility. Sad to see older negative reviews as Emily, the Barclays rep in today, was brilliant and dealt with my issues sensitively and effectively. I’ve also used the counter to pay cheques in and yes, it does take a bit longer to reach my account but that’s because it’s a post office counter and not a branch of my bank (the nearest of which is now either Leeds centre or Harrogate).

Great service from the NatWest member of staff, Deborah, this morning. Top up payments to my mobile company now sorted, as Deborah informed me the expiry date on the card I was using was incorrect (damn autofill)! Thank you, much appreciated.

Incredibly helpful staff and service - us it or lose it!
I bank with Halifax, and when I turned up on a Wednesday and saw Halifax was on Tuesdays I was disappointed - HOWEVER! Services are available for all banks are available every day - it’s just if you have queries around your account there is a room where you can turn up and speak to a representative from your bank.
I was able to make a cash withdrawal larger than what an ATM would allow, all while chatting to the friendly staff.
