- SGSophie GrahamJul 3, 20251.0Lovely customer service in store. However, I’d left it a bit late so phoned to find out what I needed to do to get money for my daughter going to China. When I got to the store 50 mins drive away they asked for ID which they had not told me on the phone despite specifically asking what I’d need. Next day came back with ID and said it would be in next day by 1pm. It was not and gave me a refund. Daughter went to China with no Yuan. Not great service, mixed messages and no follow through on assurances. Should’ve gone to M&S.

The staff in the Queensgate Post Office are extremely helpful and I have never once had an issue with any member of staff in the 35 years that I've been a customer here. I cannot praise them enough and get really angry when some faceless customer goes online or runs to the local paper to complain about the hard working staff who do their level best under extremely difficult circumstances. Now the post office is being threatened with closure they must wonder why they bother to turn up when faced with obnoxious abusive customers people with no manners and those who love whipping up trouble online or via the press. If I could give them ten stars each I would!
