- TTTobiasOct 17, 20222.0Horrible service - the lady will argue with every customer; whatever you have read in official royal mail brochures or been told by a competent customer service representative, the lady will claim that it is wrong and that she cannot help you. It may be that she wasn't properly trained and cannot understand written documents well because her glasses don't seem to be right for reading and hence she may not have bad intentions - but it is hugely frustrating, and her condescending manner doesn't help.

Do I need to bring identification if I'm buying or exchanging currency in a branch?
If you are buying currency and paying by card then you will need to bring one of the following;
Valid passport
Valid UK or EEA photocard driving licence
EEA identity card
We cannot accept anything other than one of these documents. We may also ask for ID for some cash transactions and we may need to verify your identity electronically while you are at the counter (this is not a credit check). You will need to have a permanent UK residential address in order for us to be able to do this. We will not be able to proceed with the transaction if we cannot verify your identity.

You can load any of the following currencies on to your card. The card can hold up to 22 currencies at once, but they can only be loaded one at a time:
