- SESteve EvansSep 20, 20251.0Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Zero star rating. On the23rd July I ordered €1000 euros . £884 was debited from my account. I received a text on the 25th July , no name, no reference number advising me that the bureau de change at Tesco's was shut inviting me to click on a link. Because of scammers, I chose not to and went straight to the store. It was closed despite there being board outside inviting me to visit the bureau de change. I was leaving the country on the 27th. I contacted Travelex (The company that runs Tesco's Bureau de change) and was advised to visit the Brockworth Store before 5pm, to collect my euros. I travelled there and back on the M5, on a busy holiday weekend. (22 miles) and collected my euros. I wrote a letter of complaint to the Store Manager which has to date not been acknowledged or replied to. First and last time I will use Tesco's Quedgeley Bureau de change. Give it a wide berth.
