  One of the best Tesco's, the only down side is that they removed fresh fish some time ago and it never came back

  Lost 2 potential customers today due to the attitude of Alec at the travel money kiosk, Was unwilling to match there own online Tesco rate, although previously informed otherwise and can prove there online rate is higher then you will be offered the best rate that day, or can choose the click and collect and collect your euros with no specific timeframe mentioned, Then he went on to say customers would have to wait 24-48 hours just to obtain an online rate that there own company! and just don’t want to! Furthermore he refused to ring more than one other money exchange shop, due to the fact he clearly knew the rate was approx 1.14-1.1545 and said the rate back down the phone to the other exchange store! As if I was stupid enough to believe this I then questioned that store only to find he was lying! And infact could get the highest rate at 3 other places of that day! And said oh so you don’t know the rate then that’s why you googled it well yes any savvy customer would google it beforehand! He would simply refuse to match anywhere on the high street or even their own company! Rude behaviour then raised his voice into tannoy as if his customer didn’t know a thing! And didn’t want us to change our money separately and added our amounts together even though we didn’t ask this Not a good look for Tesco! Would not recommend this bureau de change or Alec! Who was only interested in exchanging large amounts of money they are a supermarket! Hope this helps people avoid Tesco and the mal practice of their colleagues!
