A banking hub is a shared space providing easy access to everyday cash and face-to-face banking services for customers of the major banks.
At this hub you can withdraw cash, pay in cash and cheques, check your balance, pay bills, and access change-giving services (for registered businesses).
You can also speak to a community banker from your bank on the day they’re in the hub (no appointment needed). They can help with account queries, fraud support, Power of Attorney and much more.
The banking hub is owned by Cash Access UK and operated by the Post Office.
Wanted to know if I could provide ID to open a Lloyds bank account. Couldn't ring to check if this service was available as you just get the post office general enquiries number. Went down there on a Wednesday that is the Lloyds day and the Lloyds person was at lunch for an hour and nobody else could help. Absolutely ridiculous, most people want banking services at lunch time, when the Lloyds banking hub is effectively closed. Once again great customer service from a high street bank. Opened a bank account at Monzo, ID checked online, no paper forms and no time wasted going to a branch.
