  I purchased Polish currency on line and was to collect at Carmarthen Tesco. I attended the store and explained that I had misplaced by debit card, but showed my driving licence and had attended my Lloyds Bank and printed a receipt which showed that the sum.of £501.90 had been taken from.my Lloyds Bank account 2 days earlier. Contact was made by the cashier with her supervisor who refused to hand over my currency which I had deducted from my account. I was offered a refund but as I needed to purchase Polish currency I had to purchase the ordered currency as I needed it immediately. I incurred an extra £3.09 to purchase the currency. If I had ordered the currency to my home address I would not be required to produce my debit card to the delivery courier. Any purchase paid for my debit card and the money is deducted from your bank nearly immediately and you are NOT required to produce the same credit card as proof of purchase. Very disappointed as I had attended my bank and PROVED that Tesco Money had taken.my money before handing over the currency. Nit impressed and will have to purchase my currency at another venue.
