I would like to share my appreciation for the excellent service provided during my recent visit to the branch. The manager Mr. Nick was extremely helpful and professional. He took time to clearly explain valuable banking products, ensuring I understood the benefits and options available. Nick assisted me in opening a credit card with a very good credit limit and an attractive welcome bonus.
Overall, this was a positive experience, and I truly value the high level of customer service provided.

Setting up an appointment with this office was a complete waste of time. The staff member assisting me was unprepared, repeatedly called other people for guidance, and showed zero confidence or knowledge of the process. The entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. Based on this interaction alone, I would not trust them to handle anything important.

We walked into a PNC branch to cash a check issued by PNC themselves as the remitter on a Progressive insurance claim. What we weren’t prepared for was the outrageous fee charged simply because we’re not account holders.
PNC charges 2.5% to cash a check for a non-customer. In our case, that came out to $87.80 — an absurd amount. Even major banks like Bank of America or Chase typically charge a flat fee around $20 for non-account holders.
This fee structure is predatory and rivals what you’d expect from a sleazy check-cashing business, not a national bank. Charging nearly $90 to access funds from a check your own bank issued is unacceptable.
Based on this experience, I would never recommend PNC for either personal or business banking.
