I am glad they turned this back into a real bank again, but the customer service is seriously lacking. When I walked in it seemed like I was more of a bother than a respected customer. No greeting, no friendliness, no desire to problem solve. I think the employees that work here got used to not doing much when it was set up like a "non bank" and are not wanting to embrace the change. I wish PNC would do some random customer service checks(mystery shopper, etc). Is there not a DM for the bank that cares about the 2.8 star rating???

I sent an employee to this branch today to cash a check made out to cash for our petty cash box. This location was on her way to do an errand so we thought it would be convenient. The check was under $200.00, the employee had proper identification and we have cashed checks this way in the past with no trouble either at my personal bank or at the PNC location on Old Milton Parkway. The teller today at the Hwy 9 location not only would not cash it saying the signatures on the check did not even come close to matching but she was also rude and made my employee feel as though she had forged the check or something. Maybe in the future when there are no other customers there to do business with you could take the time to call the business number on the check and verify there is a check out in that amount. She not only wasted our lunch hour but now since this employee signed the check she now has to waste more time taking it to her bank on the other side of town to get it cashed.

It was tough to get the services and took so much of time. There was no one to notarize, they mentioned I will be charged for the casher check (but I know I have an account which does not charge) and he did something wrong with cashier checks and the amount was all messed up, then he recreated cashier check with wrong name, but finally I got it done and I ran out. My goodness, what an experience. I might probably close my accounts soon.
