- LRLaDonna RobinsonJun 20, 20251.0I have had the worst experience with PNC , My insurance company sent a premium refund check which is drawn on their bank PNC I went to the PNC closest to my home to cash the check I was told they would charge a fee since I didn’t bank with them, so I opened an account and still they wouldn’t deposit the check, I was told they’d have to verify the check with the insurance company , I went back in forth to PNC 8 times , finally I went on my lunch break so they could verify the check with my insurance company , while on the phone with my insurance company, The branch manager tells me they couldn’t deposit the check. Because it had numbers on the back of the check from the check being verified. My insurance company had to reissue another check. I will be opening the check at the branch and signing it in front of the banker. So far my absolute worst experience.
